The Spurs are a machine. I don't see Portland winning at their house...

Lillard put final vote to rest in RoY with tonight's performance. Over 30 points on 12/20 shooting and 9 assists with 0 turn overs. Three years from now no other rookie from this class will have a night like Lillard had. Nice to see us finally bounce back from a collapse for once instead of turning it into a streak.

It’s the first time since turnovers became a statistic in 1978-79 that a rookie has finished with 35 points, nine assists and no turnovers, according to the Elias Sports Bureau, and Lillard is the first Blazers rookie to finish with at least 35 points and nine assists since Steve Colter in 1985.
Lillard is so drastically underrated even by those of us that brag about him every chance we get. I mean he just keeps setting records, not even Blazer records but NBA/ABA records. Right from his first game he keeps doing things that only greatest players did or no other player has ever done.

“That boy growing up,” Aldridge said, smirking, about Lillard. “I was hot, too. But I started not taking my shot and (was) just trying to find him. He played great tonight.”

And he’s playing great of late. This is about the time of year that most rookies crash head-first into the dreaded “Rookie Wall.” But Lillard is blasting through that mythical barrier like the Kool-Aid Man used to blast through those brick walls in commercials years ago. Over his last five games, Lillard is averaging 25.0 points, 5.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and a mere 1.8 turnovers per game, while shooting 54.2 percent from the field. For the first time in his career, Lillard has scored at least 20 points in five consecutive games.
DAMN! while others are falling apart he is playing best ball of ANY PG in the league. Which is amazing when you consider how many minutes he has played.

Meanwhile... Maynor is averaging 9pts 5 assists on 50% FG and 42 3pt% as a blazer.

his $3mil QO is very worth it...

Finally was able to watch the game last night on my DVR. Lillard was unbelievable, and that was the most complete offensive performance of the season by far. They tried to pressure Lillard in the 2nd half, and he found the open man consistently. When the Spurs realized that wasn't working, they sagged off a bit and he obliterated them. I love that Lillard is getting better and going into the paint and making plays.

Hopefully Leonard and Claver aren't too injured. Mathews is a warrior and shrugged off his sprained ankle like it was nothing.
