Adrian Wilson Released By Cardinals - Potential Pick Up?

Didn't realize that he's 34 but this guy has a lot left in his tank. Would be added depth to our roster and gives us some security with Phillips always out with injuries. He's been one of the top safeties while playing in Arizona and I'd love to have him on the team for the right price.

    Any thoughts?

    We
    Have
    No
    CAP SPACE.

I love him too, but we can't afford KP and our current LG and TE.....so I don't see us affording Wilson...Rolle might lobby for him.

I highly doubt a 34 yr old would cost much. Phillips is definitely gone a 1 year deal would not be bad at all

He does not have a lot left in the tank, he was released because he sucked last season.

yeah I'm gonna take back my comment. There's too much talent in the FA market to have high asking prices....at least as far as DBs go.

it wasn't mainly because of that...the main reason the Cardinals had to do that was to make some cap space, but he has some gas in the tank....Wilson had a disappointing year last season, but the word suck is taking it to the extremes

Ugh, do you guys need to make new threads for everyone?

He's 34 and was repeatedly pulled of the field last year because he's getting washed up. Cap savings? He was making like 2.5 million. We don't need a slow, aging safety.

Really? They couldn't afford to keep one of the best players in franchise history because he was making a whopping 3.5 million next year? No, he was terrible.
