    Jimmer's gotta go...

You guys released Brooks just to trade for Douglas. It is quite evident at this point that Jimmer is never going to get a fair shake with this organization and especially this coach. Douglas has been here for what, 3 games? He tallied nearly 30 minutes last night and Jimmer has rarely even touched those kind of minutes all season. I think Douglas is better than IT and maybe even Jimmer, so I say we cut ties and move on. I don't know why Jimmer and his agent agreed to play for this team, but that's in the past.

Maybe this will get done this summer.

You , calm down... New ownership, new coaches, and a new GM will be here next year. We don't know whats going to happen. I expect a lot to change in the off-season.

The Kings did not release Brooks to trade for Douglas.

Jimmer and his agent agreed to play for this team because they were drafted by this team and they had no leverage. His other option would of been Europe or China but when he came back he would still be property of the Kings.

As crazy as it sounds, that might have been a good option for him last year. Jimmer can ball, the only thing that sets him back is confidence. He needs to believe in himself, and feel like the coaches are behind him too. In Europe, he would have been a starter and managed the team. He hasn't got that opportunity yet.

Him and his agent could've told the Kings not to draft him and it probably would've worked. They made a mistake. Then again, they did not know Keith Smart would be the coach. Smart tried to ruin Lin and Curry, but their talent overcame it.

Does that work for American born players? Rubio told the T-Wolves not too draft him but he was comfortable playing overseas and the T-Wolves drafted him anyway. The team that drafts you owns you for 7 years. Your choice is either play for the team that drafts you or play overseas, and after you play overseas your still going to come back to the same NBA team.

That would be a daring move as he would give up a lot of short term and long term money.

He seems to be very confident in his shot. Do you think his lack of ball handling skills is lack of confidence, lack of skills, or lack of natural skills? I ask that because his ball handling skills in my opinion is what will keep him from being a starting NBA player. I think with good ball handling skills and his great shooting ability teams will live with his defense.

I agree, I think it's his ball handling skills that hold him back. Although, he has improved tremendously since his rookie season. His handle was pathetic last year. Opposing teams would make it a defensive strategy to trap him at halfcourt everytime he had the ball because he would cough it up. I don't think I have ever seen that strategy employed against any other NBA guard. That being said, Jimmer has worked hard and his handle isn't as big a liability - hopefully it continues to improve.

Just when I thought he had good handle on his handles, he shows he can't handle the rock. I love how he keeps his dribble alive under the basket but he has to do a better job dribbling around guards. It's pathetic for a nba guard to have such bad one on one skills. He has great ideas, I can see it. But his lack of skill is killing him! I have no idea what will happen over the off season. He might even end up as our starting 1 if tyreke and Douglas goes. Can he ever be Steve Nash? It is possible, how ever his dribbling is the first thing he has to get a handle on to even sniff what the great one can do.

Jimmer needs to work on his handle 24/7. I've been saying all season (and last) that he's a major liability against teams that recognize how poor of a ball handler he is and decide to press/trap him. He either turns it over, throws up a prayer of a pass, or has to have someone bail him out. If he can't improve it, his value will never be anything more than a spot-up shooter (which still has its value).

I will say it again...Jimmer has to go. He is too good to rot on the bench for such a horrible team. Jimmer, when he actually plays, has to look over his shoulder because he knows Smart is looking to yank him ASAP. If Jimmer were allowed to play loose, like the coaches BFF, the production would be through the roof.

Please, please get rid of this coach and most of this personel or let Jimmer go. Please.
