    Awesome thread Al!

Really hope the B's can rebound tonight after that tough loss. I have a feeling if the B's get down early, we may see a scrap or two. (Thorty, Soups or Quaider?)

This is one of those situations where the league really needs to get together and discuss this. I didn't think it was all that dirty of a hit...it looked like Pandolfo turned himself at the last second and made himself vulnerable. On replay these things always look bad but when you take into account how fast the game is sometimes you just can't help these things...same thing with football.

I completely understand they want to make the game safer but sometimes you just really can't help it, especially considering at the speed the game is played.

So far the Seguin line I think has been playing pretty damn good tonight...they've generated a few chances and were only a connection away from scoring. I love how they are getting down low and attacking the net. Seguin and Marchand almost connected a few times.

    Not really happy with Ference.

I agree it wasn't that bad, I also thought 5 games for it was a ridiculous penalty

With what's happening in the NFL with all these lawsuits and with concussion issues in the NHL, this league is probably doing everything it can to avoid it but eventually they are just going to kill the sport. If they want to decrease these types of hits and injuries they will just have to slow down the game somehow...maybe bring back the 2-line pass but things happen lol
