Anthony Rizzo is projected to be the best fantasy 1B in 5x5 Roto (R, RBI, AVG, HR, SB) according to ZIPS which is the best public available projection system right now. I saw these numbers just now when putting my fantasy cheat sheet together.
ZiPS is projecting MAJOR upside for Rizzo (superstar upside). ZiPS sees Rizzo out producing Pujols, Votto, Fielder, etc.
His projection:
.280 BA, 31 HR, 109 RBI, 85 R, 7 SB

It wouldn't stun me to see Rizzo put up those numbers at all.
It would stun me if those were the best numbers of any first baseman in baseball.

The projection system regress's performance to "mean performance" -- which makes the numbers come out conservative in nature. The way to read it is looking at the numbers in a more comparative sense.
Since Rizzo has so little major league plate appearances relative to the others, his projection is far more volatile. It's just awesome to see a young player on the Cubs projected to have this much upside.

Those don't seem like top numbers. I think he will be above .280 though, everywhere else looks about right
