Northern Iowa wide receiver Terrell Sinkfield did not receive an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last month. Instead, he went to the University of Minnesota’s pro day on Monday and for the 13 teams who showed up with scouts, they came away impressed.

Sinkfield, who is originally from Hopkins, Minn., ran the 40-yard dash in a reported 4.19 seconds during one of his attempts, according to Fox Sports North. He stumbled on another attempt and still clocked in at 4.41 seconds.

During Sinkfield’s senior season, he led Northern Iowa in receiving with 43 catches for 499 yards and four touchdowns.

Read this yesterday on NFL.com, and watch some YouTube vids on him (I know they are highlights). But he looked to be pretty good. Former track player but runs pretty good routes and has good hands. Could be an option LATE in the draft.

Watch his highlight tape. His hands seem solid but for having blazing speed, he never makes a man miss. Debatably, he's constantly being thrown horrible passes and not being given a chance to run in space. However, he doesn't have any shake to him and playing at his small school with that type of athleticism should have been a joke.

He'll fit in perfectly with scatter arm Sanchez who can not complete a 3 yard pass.
