    Mavs at Rockets Game Thread

Big game tonight against the Mavericks. With a win, Houston can pull back into a virtual tie with Utah, only a 1/2 game behind the Warriors. But the Lakers are only 2 1/2 games back, and if the worst case scenario were to occur, LA could pull within 1 1/2 games of the 8th seed tonight. Let's all hope for the former...

Dirk would be the perfect mentor for Dmo. Too bad there is no chance of him leaving Dallas.

Delfino is playing like ****. That turnover pisses me off. Ya ok you turned it over so go play defense now. Instead he literally just gets back on the 3 point line and spots back up. Asik almost cost us 3 points by arguing with the refs too. That kind of **** shouldn't be happening

So far Garcia and Lin seem like the only ones who want to win this game

dont know why the fugg mchale would play a lineup with garcia, dmo, robinson, delfino and beverley for nearly half a quarter. his damn rotation has me pissed off. thats why we lost the damn bucks game cause he had a dumbass luneup in the 2nd qrtr of that game when the first unit was rolling and had a big lead

well if i'm not mistaken parsons and harden both played the entire 1st quarter. i would have probably staggered lin in there better, but i actually like the idea of lin/garcia/delfino/d-mo/robinson. 2 good P-n-R bigs and 3 guys who can drill it on a catch and shoot for 3

robinson is an idiot out there. doesnt know how to play defense and has horrible hands for pnr. hell, on his first minute in the game he swtiched off brand and started guarding marion leaving parsons confused and on brand. then he screened for harden on offense and ran to the other side of the floor, leaving harden with two defenders. that guy needs to be sent down rgv and jones needs minutes.

lin/garcia/delfino/d-mo/robinson. this lineup would be the worst defensive unit to ever go down in the history books of the nba in my opinion

Delfino doesn't need to get back in this game. He's been atrocious. Thank God Parsons is on fire. Greg Smith made his way back into Mchale's doghouse. I do not understand this man...

This has to be one of the most dominant quarters of Rockets basketball I've ever seen in my life. This team just completely exploded in this quarter and they're finally playing solid defense.

Trob looks much better playing center than power forward.

Couple things I liked in this game besides parsons, is Dmo getting time at backup center with Garcia taking over smiths minutes. Garcia also makes Delfino expendable. Also I like Robinson at centre. Even though it was in junk time, he did look better at centre.
