Tough call, if you know he wont re-sign BUT you're competing for the playoffs. IF he does get moved I'd expect he'll go to the Eastern Conference. Of those in the Eastern Conference I'd say the most likely landing spots would be...
Boston
Ottawa
New Jersey
If he's willing to sign an extension with another team the haul could be HUGE for the Ducks
Pens please

May as well throw NYR on that list, those whores are in on any and all big names.
Philly...some how some way Holmgren will make this happen
right pre-lockout with a cap around $70 million. Next year IIRC the cap goes down to $64.3 million which leaves the Pens with around $10.6 million in space. Now that doesn't seem so bad but they have 7 players coming off the books that they'll need to fill holes for. Perry is going to probably in the $6+ million range which would cripple the Pens
Ducks front office is still soured by the whole Justin Schultz debacle and with the recent events of Suter and Parise it is believed that Ducks will definitely move Perry regardless of position in the standings by the deadline if they haven't struck a deal.
The Ducks organization is not willing to lose him for nothing.
