NFL prospect says Colts will draft CB

Talked with Florida State CB Greg Reid at the Pacers game. Told me he met with the #Colts last night and they told him they will draft a CB.

I alluded to this news in the draft thread, but I think its deserving of its own topic. I'm hoping Xavier Rhodes falls to #24.. wouldn't mind trading up if that's what it takes.

I dont think Grigs will tip his hat so easily. Just because he said we will draft a CB doesnt mean it will be in the first round. I honestly think we will draft a OLB.

We need NT but nobody is worth a 1st round pick. OLB would then become the main focus.

I agree about Rhodes! Plus we can call him the "X-Man"!!!!!!!!!! How sweet would that be ????
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

I think we are fine there...An upgrade wouldn't be the worst thing but we have Chapman and Mckinney coming back from injury plus Tevesau most likely which makes us pretty deep at NT with high hopes for Chapman and Mckinney has shown to be a nice depth NT spelling Ngata in Baltimore. If Star Lotulelei checks out fine and is given the OK to play after they found his heart condition he will still drop quite a ways and depending on how far may be worth a look, even with his condition (or whatever they found) but probably not with our #1...but I don't think it is a must fill need.

Also a guy to keep your eye on is Kwame Geathers (brother of Clifton) who is a beast of a man like his brother at 6'5" 342 and could be a nice late round/undrafted project....I think that is the kind of NT we would be looking at rather than a high pick...also there is TJ Barnes who is something like 6'2" 360+ and would also be a space eater but a project.

Good... our secondary has been bad for so long. One more lockdown corner and it could become a strength, assuming we upgrade over Zibs as well.
