Didn't know that. Well, credit to you and others for keeping this place active and not allowing the silliness of other forums. We have a mature group of knowledgeable posters in here.

if that means a championship then break the bank hahaha jk jk hopefully we get one or two of those three guys but i doubt we get freeney i see us getting jackson though.this could easily be the best team he's been on offensively even better than that rams team he was on when torry holt and isaac bruce were still good

I think our biggest focus should be our D-Line/pass rush. A good pass rush makes every facet of the defense that much better. You guys think there'll be any DEs worth looking at around our first pick?

Anybody noticed Margus Hunt? The guy measured in at 6'8, 277 i think did 38 bench reps and ran a 4.6. Anybody know anything about this guy?

Getting jackson would be a good move if the price is right,he may be older but hes a better runner than turner and way better reciever. Freeney is another player that would be good move he gets to go back to the 4-3, like jackson he may be getting but hes a proven vet and may come at a decent price. I was wondering what you guys thought of seymour at DT?

Hunt is already 25 and will be 26 by the time the season starts. He's a big project because he hasn't been playing football that long. He's been very successful at blocking kicks due to his height, but his height might also cause a problem in getting leverage while rushing the Qb. With where we are at as a team, I wouldn't use a pick on him.

Feels like they might try to sign an experienced edge rusher in FA, then go DT-LB-RB in some order early in the draft.

TE is the wild card based on what Gonzo decides, but if he retires, I think they would rather draft a replacement.

UCLA DE Datone Jones ran a 4.80 official forty at the Combine and was a top-five performer among defensive linemen in the 20-yard shuttle (4.32).

Jones, who goes a squatty 6-foot-4, 283, repped 225 pounds on the bench 29 times, posted a 9-foot-4 broad jump, and leaped 31 1/2 inches vertically. The Combine workout is roughly as expected. Though somewhat limited athletically, Jones plays with a relentless motor and was highly productive for UCLA coach Jim Mora, registering 19 tackles for loss and 6 1/2 sacks as a senior.
