Franzen was on the line with Z and Brunner during practice. The other lines remained the same, so it looks Tatar will remain where he is.

I still can't believe we traded our 1st round pick for Quincey. It wasn't even that late of a pick either at #19. We could've gotten a guy like Olli Maatta there.

I just realized if Smith and Quincey are able to play tomorrow, Lashoff will probably be sent down. Lashoff would be the 8th defenseman.

Nope. Not until next year. If every player gets healthy, I think the Wings might be in a great position to make a deal.

With an influx of D men and 3rd/4th liners, I don't see why they wouldn't. Even with Lashoff possibly going back to GR, once Cola get's healthy, we've still got 8 guys on the blue line.
