    I have mixed feeling.

He seems to be a likeable coach with the players, he has done a good job keeping them motivated, and has this team competing every night. We seem to be in every game until the last minute.

He certainly has his flaws. I don't like his development of the rookies, his offensive sets are non existent, his rotations aren't good, his love obsession with going small has hurt us many times. He seems very stubborn.

Casey is showing that he knows how to turn a team around and understands how the players need to approach the game to win. However I don't think he will be a coach that can take the Raptors far, he doesn't seem like he is versed well enough in the X's and O's to churn out a championship team. With that said I do want to wait and see how everything shakes out. Casey needs time with this roster, we'll know by the end of next season whether or not Casey is the right man for the job.

I kind of agree with this. I don't know far he can take us but I am starting to have my doubts about his offensive plays. He doesn't have any.

My big problem with this team is that we don't take advantage of the fast break. Our starting 5 is super athletic yet we almost always end up playing ISO sets in the opponents end. Get it together.

The team is looking a bit out of whack. IMO Casey needs to start disciplining players on offence, some have too much slack(vets), & others no slack at all(rookies). I'd like for the Raps to boost the assistant coaching staff as well.

This is what i've been saying. his rotations are whack. his offensive schemes are questionable. Sometimes I just feel that the play is give Rudy the ball.

thats how the year began. Give Bargnani the ball, give Lowry the ball.

either that or players are just not executing the plays correctly.

i am also peeved that Terrence Ross is not getting the run he needs to develop quicker in the NBA game - while dependant on circumstances, Derozan started when he first came into the league. Terrence Ross is heads and tails better than Derozan in their rookie year but due to circumstances and mainstays for the position, Ross gets the short end.

This, our offense could be incredible, it also seems to me he keeps hoping Rudy will do something even when hes having a bad game like the Memphis game and yesterdays example, also give Ross some playing time!

A wise man once said "It is easy to be a good coach when you have a good team" but look at all the coaches that were good yesterday and and now are bad. The only exception might be Popovic.

Casey's position is more delicate because BC is about to lose his job and he put pressure on the coach to play the best team (on paper) in order to make the play off this year. I think Casey is executing orders at this point. This is why Ross and Val don't see the floor late in games. this is why Bargs is playing more minutes than Fields.

Beside this I don't know how much offensive/defensive brains Casey has because offence and defense were both horrible many times this season.

I don't have a clear opinion about his skills yet but I like him better than Smitch or Triano. After Butch he might be the next best coach in the raptors history. But this doesn't mean he is good enough to lead Raptors to the promise land.
