Woj: Amir getting recognition for MIP?

    Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
NBA's most improved Nov/Dec to Jan/Feb: Toronto's Amir Johnson. Over 53% in scoring (12.1), rebounds (9.1), blocks (1.7). Maybe MIP of year?
Would be great to see a guy like Amir win it, he deserves it.

Jrue holiday is probably gonna win but Amir is definitely a candidate. Doesn't have enough appeal to win though.

I'd probably put guys like Larry Sanders, Chandler Parsons and Jrue above Amir. Still love what he does for our club though .

if he keeps playing awesome D and gets that block avg to 2.5 or something, i dont see why he cant win it . Also if casey used the big guys more even val would get more attention. they get like no plays run for them, which is lame.

what harden shouldn't even be on the list he was was always a great talent! pfff.. i thought MIP was for players who have made a great impact and improved their overall stats in the season. (lower caliber players who are starting to stand out)

i figured players like harden, kobe, irving and the such were exempt from this poor man award.:P
