A Patterson, Harvin, Wright recieving core is talented but they still wouldnt have a bonafide field stretcher and I dont mean a pure speed guy but a guy that can get deep and make plays consistently. But damn that group would be fun to watch.

    Manti Te'o - LB - Player
    Feb 23 - 3:53 PM

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah stated on Path to the Draft Saturday that Notre Dame ILB Manti Te'o was never projected by NFL evaluators as a top-ten draft pick.

Mel Kiper at one point late in the season laughably stated Te'o should be the Chiefs' pick at No. 1 overall. "I never talked to an NFL guy, an evaluator, a scout, a GM, that had him up that high," said Jeremiah, an eight-year NFL scout. "Going into that Alabama game, I had him in the late first round. Coming out of that game, I had him in the late first round. Girlfriend or no girlfriend, he's late first round."

That sounds pretty awesome, if he checks out he could be our next 1st round pick.

Would like the list a lot better if there were WR after about 10 more of the names....

how about the TE from Notre Dame Tyler Effert. If he posts a good 40 time why can he not play WR. In the games i watched he played more on the outside than the inside. He could be another Jordi Nelson.

Alec Ogletree - LB - Player
    Feb 24 - 1:19 PM

One NFL team's player personnel director characterized Georgia ILB Alec Ogletree as an "immature idiot."

Ogletree has a laundry list of off-the-field worries, including a DUI arrest just before the Combine. He's likely to light up drills when the linebackers work out on Saturday, but the character concerns will cost Ogletree money.

Tyler Effert ran a 4.68 40...lil too slow for an outside receiver if you ask me....him and Rudolph are like the exact same player

Yeah, got to say Ogletree is less wanted around the NFL, if he's there in the 2nd though would take a chance.

    Manti Te'o - LB - Player

Recovering from a "stinger" in his right shoulder, Notre Dame ILB Manti Te'o won't bench press at the Combine.
It's not a good look for a player who's trying to rehab his image, but it shouldn't affect his draft stock. Te'o's speed, not his strength, is his biggest on-the-field question mark. Linebackers work out on Monday.

I'm curious to now see if Star Lotulelei or J. Jones slides. They might be a steal for us, espiecally Star.

Yeah i think the Vikings want to draft Te'o...they have a history of drafting notre dame players plus i think frazier really wants a middle linebacker like Te'o who can be a leader on defense...could even see them maybe move up a few spots in round 1 depending on what they would have to give up

theres no way Star falls down into the 20's , would have to move up to get him

I would not move up in this draft. WR and DT are too deep for you to need to do that. It's possible medical concerns push Star and Jones out of the first like with Bowers.

I think all Vikings fans that want a WR in the draft should watch this excellent video.

After the combine and this video I want J. Hunter again. I wanted him until somebody said that he was soft, this video says the oppisite. Says Hunter will "sacrifice his body", not that WR's have to worry about taking shots over the middle anymore.

They compared Hunter to AJ. Green with less polish.

Hunter has the size and speed we need at flanker, I would take a gamble on his knees. I still love Hopkins though, but Hunter is more of a #1 and Hopkins is a split end.
