It's time people stop hating on Andrea Bargnani

To all "raptors fans" that are booing Andrea Bargnani, you guys really got to stop.
Seriously, what kind of a supporter are you. There is no need to be booing a player of our own team. He has done quite a bit for the team. He has had his ups and he has had his downs. He is still a very capable player, and still can score 20 points on a given night. If people are booing him, that potential goes down a significant amount. He is an outstanding player, and I guarantee you guys, he will make a come back, like he has before. There is no need to be discouraging him. I really hope this message is seen by fans who plan on going to future games. I really don't think it's fair. At least give him a chance to redeem himself. You do not boo an individual the day he comes back from injury. That honestly pathetic and immature. I give him a ton of respect for not speaking out, or demanding a trade. He actually likes being a Raptors, you know how hard it is to keep players in a market like Toronto!

I agree 100% when he was playing well everyone was about to kiss his *** but when he started playing bad everyone wanted to trade and get rid of him. i was at the game tonight and seems like EVERYONE was booing just imagine how embarrassing that is to the other team.

Sorry, I disagree with this sentiment. BC bragged how Bargnani's mental ratings were off the chart when he was drafted. Where did all of that go? He is out there to do a job and he doesn't do it. I would lose my job if I didn't at least attempt to do my tasks.

Bargnani has to man the **** up and play. He hasn't done it for a vast majority of the past seven years. His inconsistency, and lack of trying have caught up with the casual fans.

I am all for keeping Bargnani as a sixth man rather than trading him for scraps, but he HAS to prove his worth despite all the adversity in order for that to make sense.

How does any of what you say justify booing a guy coming back from injury before he even gets a chance? This fan base is half educated fans and half idiots who go out and boo guys like Vince, T-Mac and Bargnani and every time all it does is hurt are team.

Whether he deserves to be in the team, or not is not the point. He is here, he is playing, he is getting minutes, and as long as he is here, we should hope for the best. Booing him demoralizes him. Not booing gives him a chance to do well. If he leaves in the summer, then he leaves, but till then, fans should smarten up. It's not like he wants to do bad, he is just going through a rough patch of games. Regardless of if he has strong mentality or not is not the point, we are not supposed to put it to test. So to all the true raptor fans STOP THE ADVERSITY!!!!

as much as it is, it isnt.
since coming back he has played 20.5 mpg averaging 6pp 1.7rpg .57ast
part of it is casey not utilizing him properly to get him touches so i dont really care about the points, but when hes out there he is literally doing nothing. how does he continue to be even worse at rebounding its pathetic.

im still against the boos tho
    go home raptors, you're drunk

Lowry posted on his twitter that the fans need to stop booing bargnani. Toronto fans are terrible. Booing your own player is about as stupid a thing as i i've ever seen. We can't trade him until the offseason anyways. Give him a chance. Don't compound his pressure before he even gets in the game. Plus, it hurts his trade value.

This is why you don't stare at chicks in public

Do you actually believe what your saying?.

You think people woke up after seven years of constant criticism & hate to just start booing him at a point it's been made clear he is most likely to be moved.

I agree. Booing is the stupidest motivation tactic you could possibly use. Seriously it reflects worse on the fans than the player.
