    Stan Van Gundy?

What do you guys think? IF the Pistons get rid of Frank, should SVG be in the running for the next HCing job here? He's worked with Dwight Howard so he should have no problem with Drummond, he'll probably have an easier time with Andre since he's got the character that Howard lacks.

Typical Joey-D will give Frank another year... But I personally would go out a grab a college coach, I doubt Callipari would come here but somebody like him would be nice for this young team.

Anyone is better than Frank. I'll take the dog from AirBud over Frank.

Stan Van Gundy would literally have a mental breakdown with a young rebuilding team.

I think whatever coach we get right now would fail either way. Because we don't have a roster to win right now. Honestly, I don't think we have a roster that's gonna turn heads in a few years. Yeah we have Monroe, Drummond and Knight but we don't have a dominant scorer. But I also don't see a stud in Knight and I think Monroe's talent limit is already at its peak. I don't see Monroe doing much more than he already is. On the other hand, Drummond has big time talent, so lets hope he stays healthy enough to play atleast 65-75 games every year. The only major thing I see Frank doing wrong is not starting Andre Drummond.

As much as I hate to admit this, it is true.

I don't like Frank, never have. I'd like to see a guy that would get the most out of Drummond. Don't know who that is but that would be my focus in a coaching search.

I agree with above. Frank is here to stay. Plus . How many coaches have we had in the last five or six years. You guys want to team to improve but how is that ever going to happen with a new coach and system every year or two? It isn't Franks fault guys don't rebound , make a good pass or put the ball in the hole.
The Lakers tried changes coaches and where did that get them? Easy to crap on Frank like it was with all the others but there is only one Phil Jackson and even Jackson wouldn't make this team better. It goes back to the thread I started a while back. P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E

Van Gundy's a good coach but if we are to fire Frank this summer I'd rather we go out and hire a good young coach who can grow with the team.
    Favourite Teams:

    Boston Red Sox: 22-16
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide reciever though.
Detroit Pistons: Looking forward to the draft and whoever the new coach will be
Ottawa Senators: Onto Round 2 vs. Pittsburgh, Game 1 tomorrow night

    Beautiful:

Frank is a good coach IMO. Sure he has made a few mistakes here and there, but you can tell the team actually respects him. After that crappy start last year they were able to bounce back because the players didnt give up on Frank and the same thing with this season. Our issue is inconsistency and that isnt Frank's fault as long as the guys are shooting when they have good looks and running hard on defense. I think this roster has potential, but we really need a solid lights out shooter and a hardcore defensive player. I'm ready for the draft and free agency, I know I say it every year but this summer HAS TO BE THE SUMMER THEY FINALLY MAKE THAT STEP. There is a solid core here, now we need to bring it the right talent to compliment that core and you will see Frank's coaching is just fine.
I can't think of any classy or interesting signature at this time, but I've finally posted enough to be allowed to have one so I am exercising that right anyhow.

Frank isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The team is in total rebuilding mode, stacking chips for the upcoming offseason. No one in the front office is determining his future based on this season IMO.

    Scrap Detroit!!
