    Coach woodson

I know a lot of you guys are asking for trades n stuff like that but i think our team is good enough the way it is , we just need a new coach or our coach to get his head out of his ***..

    1. i don't think our struggle is with defense n yeah it has been pathetic the least we all could say at this point but few tweeks here n there we can back to a top 10 defenssive team.

NOW our main issue is the offense way to predictable n that was one of my biggest fear about woodson form the beggining of the yr yeah we were playing good but how 3s wasnt gonna fall all yr long now what we do dump the ball to melo, amare nd jr on iso's thats now going to work agains t good teams n our 3 guards lineup are you kidding me ?

2.J.KIDD love him but hes not young anymore can't afford to have hm starting games when other teams guards are just killing him n yeah hes still goood defender ,play good the passing lanes nice close out on shooter but thats about it , wooody neeeds to stop putting pressure on him to guard night in n out the best guards nd sf's in the league .

3.T.CHANDLER needs to stop worry about the ****ing offense n start to play d like we all know hes is capable of ..idk we dont any bigs to back him up but thats not an excuse to let every big man in the league he guards to have a carrier night against him not good or let these guards getting to paint any ****ing time ... man up **** the offense let that to melo, amare and get ti together

4.MELO needs to take it to the basket more go to the top of the key lebron n durant and take it to rack n got to play bck sf we need help out on the perimeter d

5.AMARE has been good since back but need to play better d ,woody needs to do a better job to get him the ball more not just in the post mix it up a little bit, we cant afford to see him n melo do the same play over over

He's too stubborn and hardly ever makes the necessary in-game adjustments. He's a 1-trick pony.

Either it'll work that day or not, which is why I'm starting to believe we are going nowhere.

Melo is becoming a black hole again. Needs to give the ball up when he is not playing well and get others involved. You cant expect consistent offense from teammates when melo takes 5 shots in a row without any ball movement.

Kidd has been a liability for awhile now and he was the difference. The xtra passing and it was contagious for the rest of the team. At the end of the day when were 18-5 we were shooting too well and reality has set back in.

There are no fast break points and not enough consistent points in the paint.

forget about the coach, this team has no heart, how are you as a player going to let this happen and out of the side of your mouth say you are a championship contender. I guess we are a contender if Detroit and Milwaukee get in the playoffs. We cannot beat the Heat, Chicago, Indiana I am starting to doubt we can even beat Brooklynn at this point, how about Boston? Forget that. Lets see if we can beat Toronto and Washington both under .500 then Golden State on a six game losing streak who else do we have these next two weeks. This team is quitting. I would trade everyone on this team including Melo and rebuild. We cannot trade STAT as no one will take him and no one will take Felton. I trade everyone else and try to get young talent and picks. This team with Melo, Stat and Chandler will never win a championship as team does not play well together and then there is no money to get any decent players for supporting roles. Novak can only shoot threes and that is if he is open. Chandler can only dunk on offense no low post game. Felton cannot hit the side of the building yet keeps jacking up threes. JR Smith is just out of control, inefficient and low basketball I.Q. Melo is inefficient and does not play D, too many one trick ponies. I do not know what the hell they are doing in practice, are they even practicing and what are they practicing on offense, take shots 18 ft and out or go ISO, are they practicing defense. I trade everyone on this team by the deadline. I MAD .....I MAD....I MAD

Woodson needs to give up on small ball. His stubbornness and lack of adjustment is getting me worried. He is the first coach in the last decade to get the Knicks to play great basketball and now his flaws are being exposed. He might NOT be the guy who can take us to the next level.

We can talk about trading players all we want, but Knicks need no trade. We have all the pieces here. Our rebounding, undersized, poor shooting, etc could be solved in-house.

    1. Shumpert isnt a small forward and is getting killed every night by these guys. We have a huge problem guarding small quick PGs and ironically that us Shumpert's strength last season. Why arent we using Shumpert to his strength?

    2. Ronnie Brewer. He isnt supposed to have offense. I thought Woodson was a defense-first coach? We'll why is your best perimeter defender in the doghouse because of a jump shot? Let him guard the SF's that you make Shumpert guard.

    3. Felton-Kidd-Shumpert. This lineup NEVER has worked. We have always started games off poor because of this 3-headed disaster or lost games because of it. A freaking little kid knows its time to give this lineup up!

    4. Rebounding. Kidd-Shumpert-Melo, we are undersized at 3 positions! No wonder why our rebounding has been bad. At most, this team should only be undersized at 1 position.

i would like the lineup to look like this

    felton
    brewer
    Copeland
    Melo
    tyson

I would use ^ lineup against smaller lineups.

    then agianst larger lineups

    Felton
    brewer
    Melo
    Sheed(whenever he's healthy)
    Tyson
and stat,jr coming off the bench

I am betting on a 6 game losing streak after the break. Toronto already beat us in our house, we have to go back to Washington we already got pummeled there, Golden State, Miami and Philly, Philly already dismantled us. We should crush Philly with their lack of talent yet because they are disciplined, move the ball and play fundamental basketball we will lose that game. Working things out in house, I am not sure can you work our heart and pride in house or do you need to bring in people who have that.

When I said I liked Copeland in the starting line up, everyone laughed. But it's clear as day that he needs to start over anyone not named Melo at the small forward spot. I would also start JR over Kidd. It's time.. Also, Pablo needs more freedom in the offense. He needs to be able to run the pick n roll all the time unless we have a size match up on the court the're looking to take advantage of.

    Tyson
    Copeland
    Melo
    JR
    Felton

    That's my line up.

That line up sounds great. We should play copeland major minutes. Hes natural scorer. We should also play brewer and white to improve our defense.

This current slide starting with the loss at the Wiz is not Woodson fault.

We get beat down the floor on missed an made shots. Lack of effort and communication. Its on Melo as the team leader to not like his team right now and get on guys and he's not doing that.

The problem with Woody is that he became buddies with these guys as a way to earn their respect. The problem with that is he can't get out of that friend/coach role when they are playing or being lazy.

This is the reason why a coach like Popovich has always been so successful. He's hard on his guys but he's fair and holds them accountable. I'm sure he's there for them as a friend when they're going through personal issues, but when it comes down to game time he's all business and his players know it and repsect him for it. He WILL hold you accountable for your play and bench your ***. Pops knows how to separate the 2 roles and Woody doesn't!!!
