Around the NBA trades...NON Celtic trades

Hope its ok to make a thread for "non" Celtic trades.

Looks like Thomas Robinson just got shipped to the Rockets for a future pick! Great deal for Houston!!!

The Kings have reportedly traded PF Thomas Robinson, G/F Francisco Garcia and F/C Tyler Honeycutt to the Rockets in exchange for Patrick Patterson, Toney Douglas and Cole Aldrich.
    here is one of them

IMO Houston gets Trob for fairly cheap. Good trade for Houston.

If I were a Kings fan I would be outraged. Why would you trade a young talented player, whom you have under contract for another 4 years for decent money, for essentially average role players?

Does anyone even have a guess because I am stumped by that.

RT @HowardBeckNYT: Received an emphatic denial that Nets have agreed to any Humphries/Gordon deal. They don't want Gordon, period

The Kings deal.... I didn't think they would do anything with ownership in flux.

Now, I'm wondering if Cousins, Thompson, Evans might actually be available after all and if DAnny has any interest.

I would assume DA figured he had a very similar player to Robinson already on the roster in Jared Sullinger. Having both even though Sully is hurt this year would probably be unnecessary. Agreed Sullinger has injury problems so probably rather have TRob. Also agreed that Houston got a steal in this trade.

    Just for perspective

    Robinson 6'10" 240lbs

    Sullinger 6'9" 260lbs

Lame trade deadline this year. No earth shattering deals.
