The Broncos beat those Niners by two TD's. That Niners team overachieved that season. They were good but not that good.
The better question would be SB 33 - Broncos v. Vikings. A 1 loss top offense Vikings against a 2 loss top offense defending champion Broncos. We were truly robbed of a great matchup in that one. How would Denver's secondary matchup against Moss, Carter, and company. How would the Vikings Defense fare against Davis, Rod Smith, Elway, McCaffrey, Sharpe. That would have been an epic matchup.

Can I throw in what would have happened if John Elway hadn't retired and stayed on for a couple more years as well as TD not hurting himself and being able to finish his career the right way.

The 49ers beat the Broncos that year pretty easily on MNF with the #1 ranked defense, I have no doubt they would've won again, but that broncos team was damn good.
