Hey gang. Little concerned with the fact that Kreider was sent down only to be called up the next day. Does anyone else think that this could mean a trade is looming?
Nash didnt practice yesterday and missed the Season Ticket holders event the other day. Most of the writers are guessing Kreider was called up as a precautionary in case Nash dosent play.
I'm not concerned about that but I do worry about this kids confidence. He has all the physical tools when healthy. We need to build his confidence to a point where he knows he can out skate and over power some other opponents. We need to find ways to break Hags and Kreider in to some free space to exploit their speed. Speed kills but we do not take advantage of their speed nearly enough.
I'm not worried, I'm excited! Hags and Miller have been able to show their speed, Krieder not do much-- at least not yet! You can tell Krieder is off, whether it's his injury or over thinking, I'm not sure. The best way to cure him would be to put him on with Nash and Richards, the opposition would concentrate on them thus giving Kreider some breathing room to work. Plus working with both on a line, will help him go more as a player.
