OK, so here is my first mock of the draft season. I took into account what each team needs, and what players might be available at that pick. I reviewed 15 different mocks to see who was the highest rated players based on those mocks. thus, here is my first attempt. I will account for the combine and free agency signings in future mocks. This also assumes that there are no trades in the first round (and of course, there are likely to be some).
Feel free to tear this apart
First Round:
#1) Kansas City: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Comments: I personally would never pick him here; but, based on the team needs and that he is likely the best QB AND that the mocks averaged him out to the 5th highest player on my "big board" and he is the pick.
Other possibilities: Lotulelei, Joeckel
#2) Jacksonville: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Comments: Easy one. They need DL. IMO, the best DL in this draft is Star.
