NBA should get rid of the BBVA RSC and replace it w/ NBA RS vs NBDL allstars

The problem w/ the Rising Stars rookie game is there is no real competition, these kids think they are the **** and proceed to showoff and put a crowd to sleep. Since D-League is starting to churn players that can ball. I'd say pick 15 of the best in the D-League, 15 of the best Rookies and have them ball against each other. A D-League player would ball their *** off for a contract in this game and bragging rights. NBA rooks and sophs wouldn't want to lose this game. Imagine if a D-League player were to become the allstar in this game. Just imagine.

it's still the same problem. You got players that think they are NBA allstars when they not. You need a group that's out to prove something, and a D-leaguer would want to prove something. They not just going to stand around and do nothing for 40 mins. w/ scouts watching.

Can't wait to see Jeremy Lamb take over in the D- League all-star game

I see him scoring 30+ points

    - Durant (35)
    - Ibaka (9) Go Okc!!!
    - Westbrook (0)

see that's the thing, I'd had rather see him do that vs the NBA rookies and sophmores. This is what I mean.

In reality they should get rid of everything and do an allstar TOURNAMENT.

4 teams, semifinals and finals ( and the losers play for 3rd position).

    -TEAM USA
    -TEAM NCAA
    -TEAM NBA FOREIGNERS
    -TEAM EUROLEAGUE

Yeah I like this idea. There would be actually something to prove. Like I don't wanna lose with this D-League scrub. Like!

And yeah, the most entertaining game of the three is... SADLY the celebrity allstar game but just for Kevin Hart LOL!

I like the concept but I think it would put too much pressure on the rooks/sophs team and could be a potential embarrassment/joke for the league if the 'rising stars' end up losing to the minor leaguers.

I think a 1 on 1 tourny needs to be instituted. Would be entertaining as hell to see LeBron/KD/Melo/Kobe go at it with year to year dark horses like Jamal Crawford/JR Smith. I think they would take pride in winning that title too and it would be competitive.

Good! that's the point. If you're young allstars prove it.

they can add this and scrap the D-League showcase since the D-League allstars the 15 best will already play the 15 best of the NBA rooks/sophs

Nah, just go back to Rookie vs Soph and make sure they actually play game that resembles basketball. It's been entertaining in the past, I only saw the first few minutes yesterday but it was ugly.
