Wild sent Coyle down...not sure why, he was playing alright. Maybe they want to call up Zucker for more offense??? I thought from the beginning of the season, Zucker and Granlund should have been skating on the same line together in the NHL, as they have been making each other look good in the AHL...but I dont get sending Coyle down.

In other news, Matt Kassian got sent down a couple days back, did not show up in Houston, and got put on waivers. Also, former Wild great Andrew Brunette has officially retired, and has accepted some sort of front office position with the Wild.

No one has been called up in Coyle's place...so, there has to be some speculation that a deal is about to happen, right? Trading minor league help for an NHL forward maybe, or trading someone already on the NHL roster for 2 players. It makes no sense to send a player who was doing fine, and getting ice time down, unless there was someone to replace him.

I think a deal is coming. There is no reason to send someone down without calling someone up unless you needed the roster room.

Btw why is there no option on the poll for less then 1?!? What the heck!

Shero is at the game scouting tonight...I wonder if its for Setoguchi or if he is in town watching trying to work a deal for O'Reilly from the avs...the latter doesn't make sense so it's probably Seto haha

Wait a minute Clutterbuck was almost held from the game, and as of now has almost the lowest TOI on the team...I don't think the Pens want him for Crosby line? Can't tell if he is maybe hurt or they pulled him out of the game for a trade.

Brodin is really good. It's hard to believe at his age he plays such a complete game.
