The Ducks are 9-2-1? Selanne is their leading scorer?

    Is this 1996?

When I saw that Hiller was out, I thought this would be a pretty easy win. Then I saw Fasth's record.... Should be a fun one to watch. Wonder who gets the nod in net for us tonight. Mrazek would be my choice. Rookie v. Rookie.

I'm not sure who will be in the net for us, but our players need to stop the turnovers, clear the zone, and put some rubber on the opposing team's net for 60 minutes. If the Ducks have a rookie goaltender in net, then make him win the game. The effort against the Blue's rookie goalie was pitiful to say the least.

Nope, but I sure would like to have that seasons Wings' roster on the ice.

I don't know if anyone saw this:

Todd Bertuzzi may be done for the season, or more seeing as how he is 38.

The Detroit Free Press reported earlier tonight that Bertuzzi had been admitted to the hospital with extreme back pain.

Bertuzzi has missed Detroit’s last three games with his chronically-injured back and, following a 5-3 win over St. Louis last Thursday, “could barely walk” according to the Detroit Free Press.

Sad to hear. I'm not a fan of Bert's game admittedly but I'd never wish injury on him or anybody else. Hopefully he fully recovers from this and can enjoy the rest of his life.

Happy to see Nyquist up. Hopefully they can put him on Datsyuk's line instead of Abdelkader or Cleary. I'm not sure if Andersson is down or not. I would assume he is though

I would think so unless Eaves is a scratch. Babcock was saying Tatar and Miller played really well and deserved more ice time, so I don't see them sitting.

IMO, he needs to be put on Dats line. They are not doing much scoring and it seems Nyquist and Dats have a good chemistry together, but who knows where everyone will be playing. It's been like musical chairs all season. The Franzen-Z-Brunner line was the only consistent line and then Franzen goes down. Hopefully, no matter what, the Wings put some additional scoring potential on the 2nd PP unit.

Lidstrom paid a visit to the Wings' dressing room today. Could it be that he is considering coming back after witnessing that awful showing against the Blues. Probably not, but one can hope.

"General manager Ken Holland said a player, whom he wouldn't identify, is hurting. The club won't know until later this afternoon if that player is available." Damn, does that mean we have another injury. Perhaps that is why Nyquist is up. Pretty soon we will have the entire Griffin's roster playing.

Can't be Mule, can it? We already knew was hurt. I'm guessing another top 6 forward, or someone playing as a top 6 forward. Hopefully it isn't Dats or Z.

Nyquist makes the 6th Griffin on the roster. The entire GR line of Nyquist-Tatar-Andersson is now up. Maybe we should just put all of them on a line together, since they are accustomed to playing with each other.

It could be mule if they want to divert attention from him and put it on some "unnamed player" and he's in tonite. Just a conspiracy theory of mine.

No, no, no. These injuries have to stop. They just need to make the 1st line Flip-Z-Brunner and the 2nd line the GR Griffins line of Nyquist-Andersson-Tatar.
