People are now discussing whether this Mozgov is better than Blake's Mozgov. Personally, I think if you take away the Blake Griffin hype at the time, plus if you factor in the difficulty level of each dunk, I think Demar's is a bit better.
Blake just rose up and even pushed off Mozgov to gain more momentum on his way up. Mozgov didn't really try to defend it (if he did, he did a terrible job, he just helplessly allowed Blake to pretty much teabag him while getting put on a poster.) Forget about the fact that Blake just "threw it in" it's still a dunk in my books because of the intention + impact.
Demar actually got defended by Mozgov, and the foul call in this dunk was more legit. Aside from the defense from Mozgov, this dunk was just more difficult overall because Demar had to be wary of help defenders, and had to muscle his way towards the basket. The dunk was more ferocious, required much more effort, and the reaction from the crowd + bench + Alan Anderson who was on the floor, was just fantastic
That's just my opinion. What you guys think? We don't have any games until next week so might as well kill time talking about this **** haha
Both Mozgovs one after the other: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_EYWFveqR0
(this is the best version of Demar's dunk, it was the actual replay shown a few seconds after the dunk happened so you get the video + audio of the dunk in each replay from different angles)
