I thought that was ****ing awesome. If you're pissed at how your treated, might as well go out in fashion.

The coaches can't do anything at this point. The seasons over so they can't put him on the bench. I would be pissed too if i was put on the bench sophomore. I would want to play the whole season, not just senior night

I can honestly say I know how the kid feels. 8 games into the season (baseball) my coached benched me because of personal issues with my family. I wasn't replaced for a better player, in fact we went 4-9 down the stretch after starting 8-0. To ride the bench for 13 games and only get to pinch hit in the 8th inning because of Senior Night pissed me off. I thought of ways to give my coach a big "FU" but the competitor in me couldn't quit on the team. It's poor sportsmanship but the kid had big balls to do that.

From the articles I have read, the sophomore is the better player so he should be starting. This dude just seems butt hurt cause he aint good enough to start so he does this. what a gay boy

I walked off the court my junior year in basketball after the coach tried to put me in with 1:00 left in the quarter after not playing for 6 games straight.

No disiplinary reasons involved, apparently I just wasn't good enough.

Regardless, everyone that knew the situation knew that I had to do what I had to do and many people applauded me for my courage, which I found a little weird, but I polietly thanked them. My teammates supported me as no one could stand the coach and he was run out of town within a year or so.

This though is on a whole nother level haha!

So, he was upset that they were playing a better goalie instead of him? I understand he is a senior but still, very childish.

That level of sport should have a roll in preparing these young men for the future. If this kid is going to react like this everytime someone is better than him at his job, or someone works harder than him then I don't like his chances of being successful. I hope I'm wrong though.
