Exclamation Montana: Moss is no Rice!

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ss-is-no-rice/

Joe is asked what he thinks of Randy's comments before the Super Bowl, and let's people know it's not close. He also gets asked what he would do if he had to deal with a WR like Moss or T.O. who complain about not getting the ball. He says he would expose them during the post game press conference with tape and say look, this is why you don't get the ball, because you can't catch.

I once thought Montana GOAT until this post season. Brady clearly has risen above Montana with his play in the playoffs this year. If the D could have held the Ravens to under 13 points Brady would have won his 4th and should be 6th ring.

Pretty sure you don't become the #2 and #3 all-time career receiving yards leaders if you don't know how to catch.

LOL no. Montana doesn't get shut out like Brady did. Brady has two Super Bowl losses, Montana has none. Brady will never pass Montana.

Montana lost 3 Conference Championship games (to Brady's 2) - so Montana never even made it to the Super Bowl those years. Montana is 16-7 in the playoffs (Brady is 17-7), having played in a weak Division that was as weak or weaker then the AFC East in Brady's time, and Montana was a warm weather QB in a warm weather Division, while Brady plays in tough weather in a division with 1 good weather city. Montana also didn't have to deal with the salary cap or its implications on his team.

I have Montana ahead of Brady - but Brady's career isn't over, and there are those including Easiason that maintain Brady is already better than Montana.

Some may have worked as hard but nobody worked harder than Jerry Rice.

Randy Moss has nowhere near the work ethic of Rice.

Rice spoke out at times but was never so disruptive that the 49ers parted ways with him like the Vikings and Pats parted ways with Moss.

Vikings parted with Moss because our owner Red McCombs traded him off because we wouldn't get a stadium deal done. When Wilf became our owner he was pissed. So no, we didn't want to part way because "he was a cancer"...

Moss ripped the Vikings organization to threads after the 2000 NFC Championship loss to the Giants. Rice never did that. Moss dogged it in Oakland and was dismissed from New England for obvious reasons. He didn't even try when he wore Vikings purple again. Rice never quit like Moss has
