I hate watching the beginning of a period and seeing all those empty Platinum seats behind the bench. Don't you?
Why do The Suits have to sit there anyway? Why don't they take the boxes? Why do they take their sweet *** time getting back to their seats, long after the period has begun? Were they hitting on the hot 24yo blonde hostess at the bar and lost track of time or something?
I wish MLSE or the ACC (or whoever controls this) would just get rid of the corporate seats all together. Let's get some real fans down there who... you know, actually like the Leafs and not some businessman from New York or some ****ing place who's being treated to a game by some other rich **********...?
What do you guys think? I hate reading or listening to comments from fans of other teams who rip on the atmosphere of the ACC. The Toronto Maple Leafs, with the largest fanbase in the NHL, yet our own building is so quiet that Don Cherry calls us out on it? Is it really that bad -- that noticeable?
Will this all change once we make the playoffs? It's been awhile, I know -- nearly nine years, but has it been so long that it has finally started to show? Will MLSE ever say: "Hey, you know, we're worth like... a bazillion dollars or whatever, right, so maybe we should just... lower the ticket prices..."
Should I actually post this...? **** it, I'm posting it.
