We need to go with Ray, Shump, Melo, Stat, Tyson to start. But who's our backup Center? Sheed and Camby are needed for this to work. What's our second unit? Pablo, Kidd, Smith, Novak, Thomas? Only thing I agree with as of now is Starting Shump at the 2. I just feel he's being played out of position. He's a 2! We need his perimeter defense. For now Stat needs to continue coming off the bench.
The problem for the Knicks is that Shumps needs to be starting at the 2 and Melo needs to be starting at the 4. Which leaves an awkward void for the 3 spot. I would say try Brewer, but clearly he isn't starting material right now at least. I love both JR and Amare in the second unit because that's a huge advantage for us. I wouldn't mind experimenting with White out there.
seriously why does that matter?...whats the difference?..why not have Stat come off the bench whether we're up and he provides that spark to keep it going, or if we're down and he provides that spark to get us going?
I think it is time to change the starting lineup. J. Kidd goes to the bench, Shump starts at the two, Melo at the 3 and Amare at the four. Kidd comes in for Felton and Jr for Shump. Things would be a lot better if either Camby or sheed could play. Either can spell Chandler or Amare.
STOP THE COMPLAINING!!! OMG!!! IS PLAYING OVER .600 BASKETBALL NOT ENOUGH FOR SOME OF YOU?????? IF THERE WAS EVER A WINNABLE GAME THIS IS THE ONE...THE MATCHUPS ARE IN OUR FAVOR....
I CANT BELIEVE SOME OF YOU..DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WERE WE WERE THIS TIME LAST YR??? Just enjoy this record that we haven't had in over 12 yrs... jesus christ...
His shot falling early this year was truly a career fluke. but he needs to be out there playing great D (we got him for LeBron), moving well without the ball and Finishing easy plays around the basket. he only has to be out there for like 6 mins in the 1st and 3rd.
