We need to get Gerald Wallace involved on Offense

No excuse why this guy isn't averaging more than 10pts per game. Teams just leave him wide open this guy was at 18PPG 2 years ago for the Bobcats and shooting it at 49%. Obviously he is very inconsistent as a 3 point shooter but we are dumb for just leaving him out there in that Bogans role. We dont use him enough on cuts to the basket where is very effective and never get him midrange shots. PJ has to open things up for him.

Or the Nets just need to get a WINNER as a coach and let us enjoy Brooklyn Basketball instead of cringe when we play against playoff teams.

I agree something has to be done he should only shoot the corner 3 no other shot. When hes near top of the key he should drive every time it gets brook a wide open dunk when he does or he gets fouled. I wish we ran some plays besides iso joe johnson or feed brook and let him go 1 on 2. We need to run some pick n rolls get some cuts going do anything

PJ is trying to instill some HEART in this team but its just not resonating. I was at the game last night and D-Will kicked a chair and Bogans threw his mouthpiece pretty hard onto the court. Did you guys see that from TV?

^ I'm up for the whole Phil Jackson executive thing. This guy is a winner. If he thinks Deron should be dealt, then Deron will be dealt. I agree that people think it's too soon (this team was assembled 6 months ago) but most of the time this team is cringeworthy. Even Oklahoma with its young core had great games, our greatest game came on the road against Orlando and that was it. Lame basketball since then.

PS i didnt watch the Oklahoma road game. Also we play some competitive basketball against the Knicks. I say we wait till the offseason. I see us going pretty bad in the coming stretch, but making the playoffs as a 6-7th seed. Obviously Miami should destroy us. But if we make it to the ECF, that's success. Otherwise, change the whole plan.

I guess I'm in the minority but I think Billy King has done exactly what was asked of him by Prokorhov and has done a great job at building an "Easter Conference Contender" aka Pretender for Brooklyn year 1. I'd love Phil here as coach but as President aka GM no thanks. He has no track record as GM he could be awful. I think Billy King has done a commendable job here I think alot of the teams struggles fall squarely on Deron Williams not being the same guy he was when we traded for him. He has gotten worse every year in the prime of his life which makes no sense and the coaches misusing Gerald Wallace, Mirza and JJ. Not to mention Kris Humphries seriously regressing since his days in New Jersey.

Kris put some decent stats as a starter for a 20-30 win team. Those stats were his ceiling being the main big man on offense/defense.

I disagree Kris Humphries had a respectable midrange shot which he completely has lost which has nothing to do with being on a 30 win team. The lack of that shot is what makes him more useless than Reggie Evans. I think his confidence is in the toilet right now.

My guess is that it has to do with confidence. And yes he has totally lost it, that's a shame. But other than that even if he was is old self on this team, he'd be the first one out if we wanted to upgrade.

Anyways, I don't know how I should judge Billy King. All I know is that we've been watching a very boring team. They pound on weak opposition (till the last two losses against LAL and WAS), and they struggle mightily against big teams. I'm judging us too hastily but with Avery and PJ, the team looked good at first (beating Boston in and out, Knicks OT, Clippers: Avery, and Oklahoma out, Knicks out: PJ) then started to play some uninspired basketball. i have reached the point where I think regular season games are unwatchable, just wait till the playoffs (which by the look of things will definitely not have the Nets with a home court advantage) and watch what they bring to the table then. As long as they aren't the 4th/5th and 8th seed, they could go all the way to the ECF.

I still think it's on Deron. When Billy King traded for Deron he was a legit top-10 player. Now he's not even a top-30 player. If Deron can return to form we can be a legit contender. Also we need a coach that can figure out how to get the most out of G-Force, JJ, Blatche and Brooks because Avery and PJ sure haven't done that.

Deron is terrible, but it also doesnt help that no one on this roster runs. Deron lately has tried to pick up the pace, but this team is just too slow. Brook Lopez is always at the other end of a break and were playing 3 on 5 most of the time. Im disappointed with Deron just like everyone else, but watching this team I can see how it doesnt help him. We have 0 shooters I dont wanna hear that Joe Johnson is a shooter he is way too streaky and doesnt catch and shoot everything is dribble dribble dribble shot clock at 4 seconds then shoot

Deron has lost all his explosiveness which is more concerning to me than his shot. Deron has never been a great shooter but he's always been bigger and faster than every other PG. He's slow as hell now. G-Force is a grat fast break player to the fullest but we have no one else to run with him
