I heard on the radio today wasnt really that big of a deal. They said if anyone signs him after we cut him later we get the 3 mil back as long as they sign him to more then 3 mil

Yeah this means nothing. He's just as likely to get cut as he was yesterday.

ya all this means is they think he will get at least 3 mil on the open market (which he will, thats 2 mil less than what we paid VY)

the decision will come later, no need to rush it this isnt costing them anything

I just don't understand comments like this. Sure Kelly likes a scrambling qb but he also requires a qb to read a defense and make quick accurate passes, none of the talents that vick actually possesses.

Hopefully if there are a couple of teams that might be interested. If so maybe we could get as high as a 5th rounder for him. I heard an interview with Kelly who said the number one thing he looks for in a QB is decision making/reading a defense. Hopefully he means it and dumps Vick. I don't understand how anyone would want him back.

No one is going to trade for Vick with that contract. Even for a 5th rounder

I agree, it doesnt mean a whole lot other than we have a little less cap space to play with. I do hope we part ways with him at some point however

i don't know why people keep downing Vick, ive been saying all along our problem was Game-Planning and Play-Calling. Obvious Andy feels so as well, he took most of his guys behind him, i wonder why he didn't take Marty the OC?
This team needs to get aggressive from the head office down. before the Ravens made the change at OC i questioned what the hell the OC was doing, Ray Rice wasn't getting touches and the passing game was garbage, i wasn't expecting him to get fired but i was impressed by their aggressive move and commented on it as people down the move.
it paid of, the offense was pretty good after the change, Andy needed to make a change at OC long time before he decided to fire Juan when the offense wasn't getting it done.
i believe that Vick is the best option at QB right now, just need a OC that will use these guys to their strengths.

The Ravens werent fumbling the football or thowing picks like Vick was. Whether play calling is bad or not Vick still needs to be able to protect the football, get rid of it sooner, pass from the pocket, read a defense... He hasnt been able to do those things since day one, hes had many OCs and HCs and still hasnt been able to fix those problems, hes the common denominator. Was play calling stellar? No, but Vick just flat out played poorly as well
