A couple of buddies and I randomly started putting together a GOAT and runner-up GOAT list for every franchise in the NBA, and the biggest argument came on the Pistons list.
I thought without question that Zeke was GOAT, and we put Bob Lanier as the runner-up, but someone came up quite a few advanced stats that made a reasonably compelling case for Chauncey. The essential question, I guess, is whether or not your fa nbase has a consensus GOAT, who that is, and who is the runner up.
