I'm sure the speech he expressed didn't advocate anything negative like his actions.

Confusing and questionable, but I'm assuming he probably delivered a good message, despite not living by that message himself. A good message coming from someone the kids know and think is cool could definitely deliver a positive impact.

Really? That is part of your concern.

I would care more about whether the speech was positive or not. If he came into the school and used his life as an example of what not to do (as far as the problems he has been involved with) and stressed the importance of education, then I wouldn't have as big a deal with it. The school should have informed the parents though.

As someone who isn't a fan of Gucci Mann or the things he raps about, I do respect the fact that he took time out of his day to try to reach out to kids (once again, assuming the message was positive).

Ironic that rappers are often criticized for failing to do so, but this guy will be criticized for his positive intentions.
