    yes, but as good as they were, they still didn't win anything in the 90's so I'm still baffled.
    being back to above average status is something to proclaim everywhere all the time?

    What I don't think people realize is that this is marking the beginning of the Calderon era in Detroit. I expect the team to go on a 34 game win streak now that they have a pass-first point guard (and obviously they will go 16-0 in the post season). Frank is finally going to let Drummond start, and Calderon is going to break Stockton's single-season assist mark by averaging 23 assists a game from here on out.

    I don't know why any other team is even going to bother showing up against this cast of future HOFers.
