Looking into getting a gaming monitor

I play on a 360 and mostly FPS. It would only be used for gaming. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking to spend less than 500 dollars

There isn't really such thing as a "gaming" monitor. Dont fall for that marketing.

Now, normal monitors do have a higher refresh rate(reduces input lag) over HDTV's so I highly recommend them. I have a 27'' Samsung I bought for about 279 I'd highly recommend

See if you can't get a dual monitor setup. For that price, it better top you off.

Just dont spring 100+ more for a monitor that says it's "optimized for gaming" when compared to a similarly sized one. Bunch of horse ****.
