    Ed Reed first ballot HOF?

Right now there are 3 active players who are locks for 1st ballot. Lewis, Manning, Brady.

With Reed winning a super bowl and picking off a ball last night. Is he now the 4th active 1st ballot hall of famer?

He's a top 3 modern day (1978-pres) DB. Along with Lott and Sanders.

He had it before last night easily.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

If I'm one of the voters, absolutely. I'm not saying that God takes sides, but if mankind had never invented the game of football, God would have just to see guys like Ronnie Lott and Ed Reed play safety.

Reed is up there with Woodson as the best FS to ever play the position. Without a doubt a first-ballot Hall of Famer. The pick was an overthrow, but he would be enshrined first go anyway. Reed has lost a step or three, though, and his career post SB is all gravy.

Definitely with no questions asked. There is no reason he shouldn't be a 1st ballot hall of famer.

Yeah how can you say only 3? Charles Woodson? Patrick Willis? Tony Gonzalez? Aaron Rodgers? Adrian Peterson(unless career shortened by injuries)? JJ WATT(Homer pick and way to early but still think it will happen)? Andre Johnson?
