What was your opinion on the officiating in the Super Bowl?

    Heres an interesting article

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_2585207.html

I definitely felt there were more qualified officials. Not going to complain that my team lost though.

I think enough people will bring up the missed calls.

    1. Lamichael James was facemasked before he fumbled
    2. The offensive PI play before the long Jones TD
    3. Flacco also was shoved late and out of bounds
    4. The final play to Crabs

I voted decent because you rarely see a perfectly officiated game.

Outstanding job of officiating. Maybe the best officiated game I have ever watched.

They let them play the whole game. I had no problems with it. The non PI call was a good non call. They both were going at it and the ball went out of bounds anyways

The hold in the endzone is the controversial one. I think that in any other situation in any other game that penalty is called. I get the idea that players should have to make plays in the big moments, but it compromises the integrity of the rules if you are only going to enforce them in certain situations.

Outside of letting Cary Williams shoving the ref, it was fine. That was a fine no-call at the end.

Had minor issues with the officiating. Major issues with 49ers first half performance.

Why would you do a jump all to Crabtree and not Moss/Davis? Worst decision of the game
and with the 12th pick, The New York Football Giants select ......Odell Beckham Jr, Wide Reciever from Louisana State University

Good officials. Bad call at the end of the game with the no call on either P.I. Or Illegal contact.

a lot of people didn't catch this but at the end there on 3rd down, i can't remember who it was but i think it was crabtree that took a clear shot to the head as a defenseless reciever. this is a call during the season referees jump all over, but i guess safety goes out the window for the superbowl. i just found it interesting. look at the replay. he totally got blindsided with a clean shot to the head.

The officiating was fine. There were no calls on both sides that could have been made but it was consistent. At the end both players were physical with each other and Crabtree pushed off.

The real issue that compromised the game was the power surge. Absolutely inexcusable in a game where momentum is so important.

Officiating was fine. Those playcalls at the end are what doomed the 49ers. A run to take you down to the 2 minute warning followed by 2 plays where they weren't throwing to the end zone and then they didn't call a timeout on 4th down to come up with a good play. You could see that blitz from a mile away and chucked it up to the only option he had. 3 of the 4 plays were not designed to score a TD and the last play was the only one and they didn't even take the time to discuss it.
