Which GM's should/will be fired at the end of the Season?

    Title is self explanatory.

Here are the one's who should be nervous imo:

    Darcy Regier-Sabres
    Garth Snow-Islanders
    George McPhee-Capitals
    Bob Murray-Ducks
    Jay Feaster-Flames
    Scott Howson-Blue Jackets

Will all of them get fired? No but I do think some of them will be gone and others should be gone after this season.

McPhee looks like a lock imo to be canned if the Capitals miss the playoffs

Ken Holland replaced Nicklas Lidstrom with Coliacavo but he has a get out of jail free card for life

Shero is bad at drafting, is horrible in FA but rapes in trades. If he doesn't make a move at the deadline and the teams falters again, expect him to get fired. But, if he gets Iginla,

There is no way Shero gets fired. He's built a constant contending team (Regardless of the luck he got into that) and barring one year of the Penguins missing the playoffs he's got the job for a while.

He really didn't build anything, Craig Patrick did. He did get Neal and Kunitz, but Patrick got Crosby, Geno, Fleury, Letang, Gonchar, Orpik, Kennedy, ect. I'm not saying that Shero has done anything wrong, but Patrick was twice the GM that he was. Patrick's the one who drafted Gogo and Whitney, so essentially, he got Neal and Kunitz as well. That being said, he won't be fired unless he stands pat at the trade deadline, then watches the team get embarrassed again.

Your ignoring Staal, Hossa, Guerin and others who were important for the Stanley Cup run as part of his work and yes i did confuse when Shero took over (I thought it was 2005) but was instead 2006.

Patrick got fired because the team was horrible for 4 seasons in a row. There's a reason the Penguins drafted #5,#1,#2,#1, #2 in 5 straight drafts.

    No GM survives that.

Patrick lost pretty much his touch.

He did help the future but having 5 top 5 picks in a row (including 4 picks in the top 2) ****ing helps.

The Jagr trade was brutal as was the Kovalev one.

He then tried to load up in 2006 to save his job and the team sucked.

The reason that the Pens were so bad over that time was that they were in a financial hole, so they had to lose all of their good players. Straka, Lang, Jagr, Kovalev, and Hedberg all left because of money. That wasn't his fault. But I agree, Patrick's first half>Patrick's 2nd half. Pretty much anything post Naslund trade for Patrick was more or less awful.

Shero's issue is that he is too patient. Just be a little like Holmgren. Just be bold once. Now, he refuses to make any big-name deals because of what happened with Hossa. He also drafts only defensemen, as seen by how many top-tier or great D prospects we have (6 in total) while only having 1 legit forward prospect (Bennett). If he would just draft a forward and move one or 2 of his D for a long-term solution (Iginla or Perry, for example), everything would be fine.

Shero really is not that bad at free agency just because players chose other teams isn't his fault he hasn't had real bad signings just not any big names

Time to fire McPhee. He has had 15 years of chances to win the cup.

    Vote for Pedro!

    Flames, Caps, and Sabres.

Flames have had season after season of disappointment. The sabres have a team that could get into the playoff and actually do something and the Capitals have had no playoff success at all.
Joe Johnson. When it matters most.

McPhee triumphs anyone on this list. Years of this loser just to create the same thing he did in 03-04.
