Well that was certainly quite the win on Friday night. After making a blockbuster trade to land Rudy Gay, the Raptors embarassed the Clippers on the shoulders of Gay's 20 points. The newest Raptor showed instant chemistry with his newest teammate DeMar DeRozan as they connected early on for two alley-oop dunks. The Raptors will be hoping their chemistry continues to develop as the season wages and more importantly for their date with the Heat this afternoon. Toronto could send a loud message to the league if they were to knock off the heat today but will need all their weapons firing if they are to repeat a similar performance to that of Friday night. One major area of encouragement for Raptors fans was the play of Amir Johnson and Aaron Gray who combined for 26 points and 28 rebounds in the win. It maybe unrealistic to expect numbers like 17 and 12 from Amir again but he has shown with consistent minutes, he can certainly be a factor every night if he can stay out of foul trouble.
