Edgin was Ryan Howard's little ***** last year.

Hopefully that is not the case this year.

...as for Leathersich, the dude can get K outs, he just needs to do better with men on because that is where he really struggled in high A.

I mean even Edgin was taken in the 30th round in 2010.

It's early but i like guys like Logan Taylor as well.
The only pick that ticked me off so far from Sandy was taking Gavin Cecchini with that 11th pick. Other then that he's done an ok job.

I did not have a problem with that, the picks they made for Reyes leaving pissed me more given who else were available at that time.

...and is not like I hate Plawecki or Reynolds, but I honestly feel those 2 guys could of been had later in the draft.

I think Cecchini gets a lot of crap for not hitting in Kingsport but its still very early in his development.

Now with d'Arnaud, Plawecki shall be forgotten

Hopefully, because anything can happen and in 3 year d'Arnaud may be having issues and Plawecki could become the guy you look upon.

...but catchers are always at a premium and Plawecki could become a very nice trade chip, but again I felt he could be there in the 2nd round.

His BABIP was high in High-A so that explains why he was poor with runners on base.

That explains it a bit especially considering he had a lower LD% and higher GB% in high A, but lets not make it all seem like it was bad luck.

I agree, but we can really make a true assessment in 2-4 years from now when the guys he drafted have either panned out or flopped.

I'll say it was mostly bad luck for those reasons you give.

I would never say mostly it was bad luck because he walked more batters as well, but some bad luck was a reason.
