^ Yep. The Devils are sure to be tired too, we need to take advantage of that the boys had a good 2 day rest and should be raring to go. I want pistons firing on all cylinders coming tommorow, Boyes is hot, JT is hot, and Aucoin needs to keep his solid play up. No more stupid penatlies!!! The PK has been amazing so far this year and the PP looked good Thursday (even though I hate Weight I give him that)

The Devils got trounced in Pittsburgh yesterday afternoon, 5-1. Martin Brodeur gave up five goals for the second straight game and the team as a whole was out shot 30-16. If there was ever a time when the Islanders could take advantage of a tired opponent, this would be it. The Islanders are 2-1 against the division so far this year, and today looks to be a great opportunity to earn some more divisional wins. Those will be very important in a short season that is comprised of a lot of divisional games.

The islanders are 2nd in the league in scoring, and have the #1 power play and penalty kill units.

Isles next 4 games are Devils, Penguins, Sabres, and Rangers.

Even though it's only games 8-11, it's a very crucial stretch. Winning 3 of these games would eb huge for us/

That brutal charging call was the reason were not in OT right now. Isles didnt play badly (except on the PP), and we lost cause Johan stood on his head.

Grabs seems to make poor shot placement decisions on his breakaways.. why he didn't lift it with Hedburg down, I don't know...

Easier said than done. He made a really good move, the Isles had soem awesome chances, and Hedberg came up big.
