Look at our team out there tonight they're playing loose not having to worry about getting Dwight the ball and making him happy. The NBA has changed. You don't need a dominate big man to win anymore. It's a guards league now and it's key to have shooters all over the floor. Gasol can play center.

And honestly, I think Dwight is going to leave this offseason and we will be left with nothing. He clearly doesn't like playing in LA and quite frankly I don't think he can take the pressure. He belongs in a smaller market where he can dominate and not worry about winning every year like he did in Orlando... while we start winning championships again.
No we need dwight.Plain and simple.

You don't need a "dominant" big to win championships, you just need a damn good one. Like:

    Duncan
    Garnett
    Gasol
    Bosh
    Chandler

These are the guys that have been winning championships lately

I don't disagree about spacing, but that is something you'd need with just about any coach. Something people here fail to understand. Pau should have been traded 2 months ago for floor spacers but of course he is still on the roster with people clinging to him. Outside of Popovich or maybe Thibs, there isn't a coach in the league that could make this roster work.

we have to trade Howard, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Howard is not staying in LA. Even if LA gets into the playoffs, howard is bolting. Get a trade done now. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ag5k4wk

Hump will be done in 2 years as well as gasol. We we still be in good cap position in a couple years with lopez as a guy to attract a max guy or two(if we can get rid of nash next year as well)

    Yall let me slip?!?!

They were dominant because of great basketball skills, not because of pure power. When someone says, "Dwight is dominant", they mean he can overpower the opponent, not beat them with actual basketball ability.

We must trade everyone ...metta sucks now... Howard is a *****
I'll do whatever it takes to win games, whether it's sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot.

I'd trade Howard and Nash and sack D'Antoni tomorrow.

Dwight will be healthy for the play offs and every body on psd will be kissing his arse. Lakers still got this quote me. He will also resign in the offseason.
