Clueless... He was playing very solid basketball as of late and getting a ton of minutes... This is a huge loss for the Celtics as he was the most effective rebounder on the team.

He was +50 in the last 17 games while the team was -18 and was leading the Celtics in +/- at the time of this injury.

    Praying for a strong recovery.

    Nope, it was his back.

Ugh, I hate to see this

I love Sully. He's got the talent to make it in this league and he certainly works hard enough. That back is really bad news though. There's a reason teams passed him over, it was a bigger deal than people realized at Ohio State. Hopefully his back can stay healthy once this surgery is over.

No, his back was red flagged by a lot of teams.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Similar situation happening with Kevin Love, the team has to surround him with foreigners and whites because black players won't succumb to the greatness that is Kevin Love.

The bottom half of the east teams are pretty garbage so they can still make the playoffs but they'd be better served blowing it up. It's not like they're a threat for a first round upset........

This guy cost himself millions by turning down the unanimous #1 pick to chase a National Championship that he never got. Dropped 21 slots in the draft and might never get a second NBA contact.

That's an extremely immature way to look at it, but we'd expect nothing less from you.
