I have a friend who's a teacher. She had 2 facebook accounts, one with her real name that was more professional with co-workers and classmates from school, and another with a slang version of her name where she posted all her slutty pics when she did modeling and went to raves and all that. She ended up deleting the sluttier one anyways.
Pretty sure it was in her contract to conduct herself in an appropriate manner and to always represent the school with dignity and professionalism, or else she'd get fired. Parents would be pissed if they found out one of their kids teachers was posting naked pics and smoking weed.
I also know of profs in University (the "cool" ones) who will add students on facebook, but only after they graduate. There's something weird about Tweeting @ your teacher, and then seeing them at school on Monday.

I sent my spanish prof a window in Farmville and then announced to the class that I was getting 3 extra points on a quiz. I don't know if I ever actually got the points lol, but she was friends with me and alot of other people on Facebook.

A few people from my History of Music class and I went to see some guy play the blues and our prof was there and bought us a round.

I also had this one crazy prof that gave out cigars when you answered hard questions and made his class a complete joke and easy A. He got a DUI and lost his license so he had a student drive him to the school. He gave them an A although everyone got As so I guess it's not a big deal. A bunch of us also showed him pictures of the blunts we rolled one 4/20 and he just talked **** on how he smokes fatter blunts

That was college though. You can't be doing things like that especially on the internet if you are teaching kids. Even if you weren't teaching kids, a lot of companies would fire people for that stuff

OT, but we had a child molestor at my middle school. He was a computer teacher, who a few days before our school fair, got arrested by the FBI, an got 8 years in jail. No hot teachers that I have had

A lot of people on PSD are around the ages of 16-18, so they don't understand that people ages 16-18 are still kids...so they don't understand why a teacher would get in trouble for what they think would be her "private life." Its not such a private life when you make it so public. There are such more mature ways to "be cool" to your students, then to show them your half naked *** smoking weed. Part of school isnt just learning something like math, or English, it is learning how to become a responsible adult, and teachers are supposed to model that behavior.

She's a bad influence, for sure, but she wasn't doing anything illegal.

95% of the time when people get fired, they didn't do anything illegal, but they violate policies, or break unwritten rules.
