    Interview with Kobe (interesting stuff)

    Some outtakes:

"Are you worried Howard might leave, jeopardizing a chance to win another ring, if he's not a fan of Mike D'Antoni's coaching?"

"Yeah, a little bit," Kobe says.

    ............

    What about Howard and Bryant?

"I've been through much worse," Kobe says. "Shaq and I honestly didn't like each other. At least Dwight and I do like each other."

I suggest to Kobe that he probably thinks Howard is a clown, and Kobe says, "Yeah, but let me explain.

"Dwight is jovial. But by me being who I am, it balances out."

    .................

I don't think Dwight has given this a chance if he leaves.

I mean, I read somewhere that our starters have played like 16 games or so together. Dwight hasn't been healthy all year, Nash got injured, Jordan Hill got injured, Dwight has missed a few games, our coaching situation changed.

Just wondering! I keep hearing about "if Dwight leaves" where is he going. His wish list was Brooklyn, Atlanta, Dallas & LA. Let's look at this, Brooklyn & Atlanta have no money and could only get him by trade. Going to Dallas would be a similar situation like LA because Dirk is similar to Pau. Plus he would get more money staying in LA. Considering all that and in a year and half LA will have plenty of money to reload I truly don't think he will leave.

I think it has a lot to do with how unpredictable the dude can be. He is thin skined, one moment he can say how much he loves it in L.A. only to get his feelings hurt the next day and want out.

I've worked in worse environments for minimum wage. Give me $20 million and you can physically stitch my mouth shut.

Look at how many people have crapped on Gasol because he opened his mouth.

I agree. It just shows how pampered he has been growing up. He doesn't use criticism as fuel. Instead he sulks .

Agreed. It's definitely been the season of Murphy's Law. Frustrating, because when this team shines, it's not just above average, it's extraordinarily good. Hopefully they all feel that and realize the potential. Kind of tired of slumping shoulders or getting frustrated though. For now, we have what we have, so here's to hoping they can get it (and keep it) together consistently. The trade deadline's gonna be interesting to say the least. You can almost feel it.
