Crooner, I like that idea. I think the Pistons would do that - Knight would be tough to nab - but he would be a phenomenal starting two or 6th man. I think D'Antoni would resurrect Villanueva - the guy averaged 16 a game just a few years ago - he would be our Channing Frye I guess...love maggette's contract, but thats about it haha.

Pau will get traded. It just won't work. D'Antoni made that pretty clear from the outset. I hope they do it sooner rather than later though. Rather than focusing on winning games, all the fans can think about is Pau's imminent departure. Everyone'll be jumpy til it happens.

^the only downfall of such a tread is the lottery pick wouldnt be too high, and maybe even not be lottery, i mean is not out of the question that calderon, stuckey, jerebko, monroe, gasol + drummond could get that east 8th seed.

like the trade but rather get stuckey in that trade and piston would never trade knight one of their best player. but I do see them trading stuckey since they are having problem with him and with the addition to calderon they can trade stuckey for a big.

not the worst trade ive ever seen, it just depends how high that draft pick ended up being, cuz knight could turn out to be a legit point guard some day and the draft pick could possibly end up being quite the player as well, i really dont like villanueva, and maggete is pretty much done at this point
