FA and Trade "Players of interest"

    Free agency

    Point Guards

    Paul (Obviously not happening.)
    Billups (Obviously not happening.)
    Mo Williams
    Jose Calderon (Personal favorite)
    Jarrett Jack
    Augustin
    Jennings (RFA)
    Evans (RFA)
Teague (Have to overpay as he's RFA but not bad)
    Collison (RFA)
    SG

    Iguodala (ETO Obviously not happening.)
    Ellis ( Same)
O.J. Mayo (Player option, Personal Favorite)
    Martin
    Tony Allen
    Redick
JR Smith (player option, don't really want)
    Young (More like old)
    Barbosa
    Wes Johnson

    SF

Earl Clark (Personal Favorite, though few options.)
    Dorell Wright
    Brewer
    Budinger
    Maggette
    Barnes

    PF

    Josh Smith (Ugh.)
    West
    Millsap
    Brand
    Jamison
    Odom
    Hickson

    C

    Howard (You know the drill)
    Bynum (Same)
    Jefferson
    Pekovic (RFA)
    Kaman
    Mozgov (RFA)
    Dalembert
    Splitter (RFA)
    Zaza

Also I wonder who you would try to use our cap on in a trade? I haven't looked at all, but I assume it would have to be an overpaid player that is underperforming and that is on a team with a lot of salary that wants to get out of the tax area. (The only player that comes to mind of interest would be one Rudy Gay.)

I think Mayo should be our top target as long Hes not wanting to much. Then I want Brandon Wright who I don't see on your list. Then hold onto whatever is left for a little bit of flexibility.

What do you consider too much? I was thinking around 9-10 for a 3-4 year contract.

Jarrett jack would be a nice pickup imo. Also, I would not mind Hickson.

With Calderon here we need to trade Stuckey and maybe even Knight if the deal is right. Can we amnesty Jerebko?

Resign Calderon. 3 FA's im interested in would be Mayo, Clark, Wright.

Mayo might want 9-10 a year
Clark i think can come fairly cheap 3-4 a year?
Wright is a young C/PF. Some teams may throw more at him. 5 mill a year?
Calderon will prolly play for 6-7 on a 2 year deal. Maybe over paying.

Obviously not going to get all 4.

I think Hickson is going to get a big check imo. Warriors will resign Jack. He is ballin down there.

Wright is someone I was just thinking about while watching the game. Don't know how I forgot him. Also blink, with your numbers, we could potentially get all 4.

Idk how much money we would have. I forgot to mention we would extend Monroe.

I think the best option is using the cap space in a trade.

Im all for absorbing contracts as long as they throw in draft picks. Id prefer 2014 picks but this year picks wouldnt be horrible.

Wouldn't mind making a play for OJ Mayo. Really good free agent class this year. Where Howard goes should be a top storyline in the NBA this off-season.
    Favourite Teams:

Boston Red Sox: 46-52, games this week vs. Blue Jays (4), Rays (3)
Indianapolis Colts: Good draft and off-season so far.
Looking for new NBA team to cheer for
Ottawa Senators: 37-31-14, season over, free agency begins this week.

Milsap is the sleeper pick up. Has always had a crowded 4 spot down in Utah. Could really turn it up if given more consistent playing time.

    Scrap Detroit!!

I think its to late for playoffs this season. I mean we are 13 games under .500 lol

If Atlanta deals Smith would you guys trade for Lou Williams. I know he has an injury but an ACL is like a twisted ankle today.
