Penguins want to improve their defense. Be open minded about this please.

Jonathan Quick is a pretty big upgrade on Jimmy Howard. He is one full tier above Howard. I have Howard ranked in the 6-8 area, whereas Quick is top 3. That's a large upgrade. Win Blues.

Brian Campbell vs Jeff Skinner. Brian Campbell was elite last year and is obviously a very good d-man, but Skinner was a 65 point player in his rookie year at the age of 18. Last year, he was on pace to a 56 point season with even worse teamates at the age of 19 on a ******** Carolina team through an injury riddled season for himself. This isn't even a huge upgrade, and I wasn't sure whether to look at Skinner vs Campbell or Heatley vs Campbell.

Dany Heatley vs Petr Sykora. HUGE upgrade here for the Blues. Not even going to justify this.

Willie Mitchell vs Chris Phillips. Another solid upgrade for the Blues. Mitchell is one of the better defensive defesemen in hockey.

Andy Greene vs Derrick Brassard. Derrick Brassard sucks. Okay he doesn't suck but his ceiling is about 50 points in a good year and he isn't good enough to be a good 2nd line C even if he does hit that, he's a fringe 2nd line C. Greene is a fringe #4 d-man, but could do fine with the right guy on the 2nd pair. This doesn't even justify anything.

You have 3 upgrades for the Blues and 2 fringe upgrades for the Penguins. VETO.

Legend I passed your other trade also, I try to pass as many trades I can as I like to leave the business to the GM's as a TC member, but this is too much. It's almost like someone gave up or doesn't care because I know Legend's a much better GM then this.

    Veto.

I don't understand why the Pens would accept this. They lose almost everywhere. Goaltending gets worse by going from Quick to Howard. They get much worse at forward going from Skinner and Heatley to Brassard and Sykora. Then they go from Greene and Mitchell to Campbell and Phillips. It's one upgrade (Mitchell to Campbell) for 4 downgrades, most of which are huge. It's an easy veto for me.

We're not out to screw you. This is the exact type of trade we're supposed to veto.
