I would like to see them get out of the first round this year, i think that would be a good goal for them.

I think thats what all knick fans want more than anything at this point, before the thought of advancement. But I dont think thats whats on the players' minds. There goal is obviously to win it all. I mean kidd came because he believed they had a chance to win. Those guys are a confident bunch, and you could see it.

Two coaches have failed in LA so far, its got to be talent. Nash,Jamison and Gasol are having their worst years in their careers.

I thinks the Knicks are pretty capable of getting the first seed. It all comes down to them stepping up come playoff time and not cracking under NY pressure.

i don't see knicks having much trouble with the nets, bulls rebounding and size is a huge threat to the knicks.

Nets could beat the Knicks, though I'd still like to see Teletovic start to get more regular minutes and would like to see Shengalia as well. Have to see what they do with possible trades too. Bucks could benefit from a good trade also. If Boston holds on they could still be a threat to anyone, at least in earlier rounds. If Pistons with Calderon can sneak in they could make things uncomfortable. Chicago or the Pacers are definite threats to anybody, and especially the Knicks, even if I'm still not convinced either of the two teams really has a 2nd gear to get to. Hawks run hot and cold, but they could steal a first round.

I think there's going to be be big surprises in the playoffs this year. And yeah, Knicks could continue to surprise me too.
