Debating this in the NBA forum. I'll be pissed if we trade for Josh Smith. The time to get Smith was 3 seasons ago or earlier when he could be paired with Nash.

Take Smith, run an up-tempo, open court offense with Dragic and use Smith and Tucker as your D stoppers.

I don't think Smoove necessarily means recreating that nasty PnR Nash use to orchestrate. But even then we have Dragic and Marshall that can learn that. I don't think its worked with Gortat so far cause he can't explode worth crap.

The suns just dont know how to suck for luck, were about to acquire a bunch of mismatched pieces that are all just an attempt to put more butts in the seats instead of win a championship, and then when it doesnt work out immediatly sarvers gonna get impatient, freak out, and make an even crazy-er trade to cut our losses. Hedu Turkaglu for Gortat for example. Even though that trade worked out for the better.

Hell yes! Smith is one my fav pfs. He has great Defense. Pairing him with Dragon would be perfect. That wont make us a contender though but still ill be happy cause its a step closer

I think people are jumping at this because they it is our "quick fix". However, I'm leaning with you, Bish. I am a little apprehensive at going this route. High risk, high reward. No guaratee Smith and Howard will work well together.

I agree with the bolded.

I don't doubt Josh Smith's defense, I question his offense without a PnR pass-first PG.

IMO Dwight is not a winner and will take up too much cap space for what he contributes.
